Stephen Clarke
Stephen Clarke competed in the butterfly, backstroke, and freestyle at the international level. He competed at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games where he won a bronze medal as part of the 4x100m medley relay team. Four years later, at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, Clarke finished seventh in the 100m butterfly.
Rob Braknis
Rob represented COBRA and Canada at the 1996 Olympics where he finished 16th in the 100m backstroke and was a part of the twelfth place 4x100m medley relay team.
Robbie Taylor
Robbie Taylor’s first major international experience was as a member of Canada’s 1998 Commonwealth Games team. Rob was a member of Canada’s 2000 Sydney Olympic team.
Stephanie Dixon
Stephanie is possibly the top Paralympian Canada has ever produced. She joined COBRA at the age of 13 and by the age of 16 had qualified for the 2000 Sydney Paralympic Games. In Sydney, Stephanie won four gold medals and set world records in the 100m backstroke, 100m and 400m freestyle.
Matthew Cabraja
At the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics, Matthew finished fifth in the 100-m butterfly S11 in a personal best time. He also placed seventh in the men’s 400-m freestyle S11 and ninth in the 50-m freestyle S11 and 100-m backstroke S11 (personal best).
